Dear ,
The UK property market is moving from discussion to implementation on upfront, structured property data.
This week, Property Deals Insight participated in the SPDTF Hackathon 1 — Property Packs: Data Discovery and Consumption, hosted by the Open Property Data Association.
The focus was practical: making digital property packs easier to discover, consume, trust and integrate across real workflows.
Property data remains fragmented across multiple sources, and that fragmentation is one of the reasons transactions are still slower and more manual than they need to be. Packs matter because they can bring valuation context, EPC, council tax, planning, flood risk and material information into one structured flow for agents, buyers, lenders, conveyancers and PropTech teams.
For the hackathon, PDI shared working property-pack endpoints, practical setup examples and a developer handbook so participants could move from setup to testing quickly.
| • | Structured JSON data for integrations |
| • | Optional browsable HTML output for demos and workflows |
| • | Optional downloadable PDF output for reporting and sharing |
For developers and sandbox participants
We have published an initial getting started guide to help participants test the PDI property pack APIs and understand the practical steps needed to consume property-pack data through the sandbox flow.

If your organisation is preparing for digital property packs, material information workflows, lender or valuation automation, or PropTech integrations, now is the right time to test and operationalise the data layer.
